Fitz & Jen's Question of Day: Is the NYT Co. Dealing Fairly with Boston?

Jen: Given the news coming out of Boston we only thought it would be appropriate to throw this out for today:

After The Boston Globe guild voted down concessions, narrowly, on Tuesday, 277-265, should owner NYT Co. have gone ahead with its promise to enforce 23% cuts? Should it continue to threaten to close down the paper again? Are the cutbacks fully necessary or are they being mandated unfairly? Who is to blame here?


To seed the process, I think the guild made a stupid, stupid, move. Agree? No? Comment below ...
