'Life' is Alive!
Jen: Life magazine, you are appropriately named-- no one can keep you down! The once glossy, once newspaper supplement, is seeking another term on Google. Time Inc. announced today that more than 10 million photographs -- 97% of which have never been seen by the public -- will be hosted at Google Archives. (Muhammad Ali taunting Joe Frazier at left is one photo in the archive.)
According to the press release, the photo archive will be one of the largest professional photography collections in the world. People can search for free for personal and research purposes but copyright and ownership of the photos belongs to Time.
